The Lupus Foundation of America released a question & answer post with Dr. Dafna Gladman entitled “15 Questions with Dr. Dafna Gladman – Musculoskeletal Issues and Lupus” It is an informative article about our muscles and skeletal related to lupus. I found the fact they don’t know why lupus attacks the muscles. The fact that they’ve done so much research on lupus, but don’t know why it attacks certain areas amazed me. So much is not known about a condition that causes so much turmoil in our life shows just how much research needs to be done to improve the quality of life of people with lupus.
